The archaeological collection of the Museum and Archaeological Park of Cueva Pintada is one of the richest and most representative of the Gran Canaria Prehispanic culture. Our mission consisted of the 3D documentation through photogrammetry of 45 archaeological artefacts including ceramic vessels, stamps, figurines and stone tools. Thanks to this documentation process, we ensure that all relevant information of an archaeological object is registered for later study and publication.
Apart from the 3D documentation of these objects, a Virtual Museum of Cueva Pintada was established, where all these 3D models can be visualised for free and online on Sketchfab. By doing this, we make sure that the results are properly disseminated.
